ALF FARM FLEECES

Fleeces are only sold at the farm.  We do not ship.  We sell our fleeces whole.  They are heavily skirted and weighed, and are usually assessed a price for the whole fleece.  We do not cover our fleeces and there will be some VM.  I prefer to sell them here at the farm where the buyer can look at what they are getting, as well as feel the soft hand.  Many new spinners are quite shocked to dive in and get that first raw fleece and feel that the work involved is a bit "much".  However, it is a learning process just like anything else, and a process to be enjoyed.  The resulting end project will have many stories to tell!

     This is a wonderfully fine roving that is suitable for next to the skin.  It is also
     EXCELLENT for felting and needle felting.
