Handcarding, Combing and using the Blending Board

 This class is designed to teach you how to effectively use handcards, drum carder, combs, hackle and the blending board to created processed spinning fibers.  You will also learn how to determine the best tool for the job based on the fiber in hand and the intended use of the spun yarn.

What you will need to bring   A variety of washed and cleaned fibers from your stash to process.  This must be CLEAN and dry fleece, locks, or any rovings that you would like to re-process.  Bring any tools you have, such as flick carders, combs, hand cards, blending board, etc.  There will be fibers and tools at the shop to share as well.  A notebook and pen is recommended.

This workshop will run about 4 hours

COST - $50.00 plus a $5.00 supply fee
